Ravanson KR-7010: my review of this air cooler

What could be better than an air cooler, and not just any cooler, the Ravanson KR-7010, to lower the temperature of your home during hot weather. More powerful than a fan and just as effective, but cheaper than an air conditioner, the air cooler is becoming increasingly popular.

I tested the Ravanson KR-7010 and here’s my take.

The Ravanson KR-7010: My Thoughts

I admit, I bought this device out of pure curiosity. Many people around me were talking about it, and I thought, why not give it a try? Verdict, I am pleasantly surprised.

Positive Points

Let’s start with the design of the device. It is modern and sleek. Regardless of the color chosen (I opted for black), it fits perfectly into your home decor. Its dimensions and very light weight make it a compact device that can be installed in a corner. It doesn’t require a lot of space and can be easily moved from one room to another. There’s no need to carry it; it glides on its wheels.

Another point I really appreciated is its dual functionality, which I find very practical. The humidifier function is especially useful when the humidity level is low while it’s hot outside. This is greatly appreciated by people suffering from respiratory issues. Another very interesting feature I found is the different speed levels. I could choose the level of coolness I wanted. And this can be done using a remote control. Very convenient when you’re in bed and don’t want to get up.

Finally, the capacity of its tank is very interesting. You don’t have to get up each time to refill it with water. In case of high heat, the ice packs provided with the device can be helpful. And a little tip I’ll share with you: add a few drops of essential oils to the tank. It’s very handy for masking odors in the summer. You won’t need air fresheners anymore.

Negative Points

Unfortunately, I noticed an odor during the first few days of use. However, it dissipated over time. It should also be noted that the air flow is somewhat weak compared to some entry-level models.

In the end, I can confidently say that the Ravanson KR-7010 is an excellent air cooler.
